Dear Summer Camp Families,

After much consideration, it is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that we will be canceling our 2020 Taekwondo Summer Camp.  At this time we still do not have a definitive date that we could guarantee that we would be allowed to open.  In addition, although we applaud all that the Department of Health is doing during this COVID-19 crisis, we do not have clear guidance with regard to requirements that would need to be met in order to open once we were permitted to do so.

We have always made it our top priority to ensure the safety of all of our campers for the full days that you entrust your children with us.  We have spent hours trying to reimagine what changes and procedures we would need to put in place in order to feel comfortable to reopen camp, and to know that we could keep both the campers and staff as safe and healthy as possible.  We take pride in the programming that we provide during camp, from the Taekwondo instruction, sports games, field trips to the arts and crafts.  But we believe the reason campers return year after year is because of the fun and positive socialization, togetherness and camaraderie that occurs during those activities.  The limitations required to run summer camp at this time leaves us no realistic path to provide the World Class Summer Camp experience that we want to deliver and that you have come to expect.

We understand that families will be disappointed; I can assure you that we certainly are as well.  While it is very upsetting that 2020 will be a year without camp, we are extremely encouraged that we will soon be able to open our schools, with enhanced cleaning and safety protocols, for in person Taekwondo classes in the near future.

We will, of course, be issuing refunds for 100% of all payments made for camp.  Refunds will be made to your original card or account that was used for payment.

Thank you for wanting us to be a part of your children’s summer and we look forward to having them back at camp in 2021!
