Drop off and Pick up:

Drop off begins at 7:30am. Please plan to bring your child into our facility and sign them in each day. If you know that your child is going to be late, please call to notify the Director. In addition, please be advised that campers not arriving by 9:00 on a field trip day will be the responsibility of their parent/guardian for the day if departure has already occurred.

Structured activities will take place between 9am and 4:00pm (Amherst 9am-3:15pm).

Pick up takes place between 4:00pm-5:30pm (Amherst pick up is 3:15pm-3:30pm).  All pick ups will be supervised by a staff member. The only people allowed to pick up a camper are those who have been previously identified on the camp registration form.

During the drop off period from 7:30 to 9:00am and pickup period of 4:00-5:30pm (Amherst pickup is 3:30pm), campers will participate in supervised free choice time. During this time, board games, paper games, and art supplies will be available. Campers will also be free to use their own portable electronic devices.


Daily Lunch & Snacks:

Campers should bring a water bottle, lunch and a snack packed​ in an insulated bag. Every Thursday is Pizza Day! The cost is $5 and includes: pizza, pretzels, a drink box, and a popsicle. The money can be brought in with campers each Thursday.


Camp Cell Phone – Contacting the Camp Director:

Each camp location has a camp cell phone. We ask that if you need to contact the summer camp staff during camp hours, that you call that phone. The phone numbers of these cell phones will be given out on the schedule that you receive every week. The camp director has this phone on them at all times.


Reading Time:

World Class Taekwondo promotes and encourages summer reading. Approximately 30 minutes of each day will be set aside for reading time. Younger children will be read to during this period. Older children are encouraged to bring their own reading material.


Field Trips:

Campers will go to a local park and up to one additional field trip per week. Transportation will be provided by First Student school bus service. Please have campers wear their camp T-shirts, socks and sneakers for all field trips.


Summer Camp T-Shirts:

Campers will receive a T-shirt on the first day of camp. T-shirts must be worn on field trip days and park days. Additional T-shirts are available for purchase.


Daily Rate:

Registration for campers wishing to attend on a daily (not weekly) basis will be accepted only after 5/1, space permitting. Registrants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.


Attendance:

Campers must be pre-registered prior to attending all camp days. Makeup days are not permitted. These policies are required due to the specific student to instructor ratios that must be maintained according to NYS Department of Health regulations.


Payments:

  • A nonrefundable deposit of 20% of total tuition is due at the time of registration. The weekly deposit will be deducted from the weekly camp balance. Full payment is due on the Friday prior to each week your child is scheduled to attend camp.  All camp fees will be paid automatically through credit card drafting.  The charge will be made to the credit card provided at the time of registration.
  • Refunds will be issued only in the case of illness or injury.
